Røros Tweed City Mini Wool Blanket

In the City collection Birkeland has designed for Røros Tweed, she shows a graphic version of her own handmade woven textiles – all transferred the loom in four different color palettes; pastel, mint, orange and aqua.

"Since childhood I have always been fascinated by the order and the colours of the rainbow. As I became older I got more and more interested in breaking the order of the colours and putting them together in new combinations. As a lot of inspiration for my work when it comes to colours, has roots in my childhood I think that it is especially fun that the CITY collection, which was launched in 2019, now is made available in the Mini and Baby sizes too — designer Ingunn Birkeland
