How to Choose the Right Size
Take your favorite structured (minimal stretch) jacket and lay it flat.
-Measure from the edge of the collar to the end of the sleeve for Measure Z.
-Measure armpit to armpit and call it Measure E.
-Measure from the top of the collar to the bottom hem for Length A.
See our size chart and find which size most closely approximates your measurements. Also consider whether you will be layering anything underneath as you may want to size up.

The Material
The Herdsman Jacket is made of a very fine worsted wool, a wool beloved by the Austrian people and some of its most famous emperors. We have used a 32 weight wool yarn. A 32 weight wool yarn means that an individual wool yarn strand must be 32 cm long to weigh 1 gram (to compare, our mittens are made of 4.4 weight). This wool is highly combed, very strong and tightly woven. It was shrunk 50 percent so it is 450 grams of weight per sq meter density which is almost 1 kilo or 2.2 lbs of wool in each Jacket which accounts for its heft and beautiful hang from shoulder to waist. It is also very naturally water repellent. Made in Austria with loving hands and detailed hand finishing with traditional old world quality and pride.
